1. Local-First Client Architecture
QuantumDesk operates on a strict local-first paradigm. All core simulations (physics trajectories, chemical reactions, molecular visualizations, matrix operations, and mathematical charts) execute purely inside your browser client using WebGL, Web Audio, and WebAssembly. No telemetry or inputs are transmitted to our servers during simulation execution.
2. Information We Collect & Store
Guest Mode: When visiting without an account, zero personal data is gathered. Academic timetables, notes, and simulation presets reside strictly inside your browser's local cache (localStorage and IndexedDB).
Registered Accounts: When signing up, we record your name, email, institution (optional), and chosen authentication provider. Password credentials are encrypted using PBKDF2 with SHA-256 and unique cryptographic salts.
Cloud Synchronization (Plus/Pro): Subscribers opting for cloud synchronization transmit encrypted JSON progress payloads to Cloudflare D1 for cross-device continuity. You retain complete authority to delete synced data at any time.
3. Artificial Intelligence Copilot
When utilizing the Quantum AI Copilot or Code Explainer, user prompts and relevant code context are dispatched to serverless inference endpoints (Google Gemini, Groq, or Cloudflare Workers AI) strictly for generating real-time academic solutions. We do not use your proprietary laboratory data or notes for machine learning model training.
4. Advertising & Third-Party Services
Free tier access is partially supported by non-intrusive Google AdSense display units. Pro and Extended tier accounts enjoy a 100% ad-free experience, where ad containers and tracking scripts are completely excised from the DOM to eliminate background network requests.
5. Contact & Data Deletion
